New Inter signing Adem Ljajic has elected to take the No.22 shirt, following his move from Serie A rivals Roma on the final day of the summer transfer window.
It had previously been reported that Ljajic would take the No.20 shirt, but it now appears he will wear No.22, while Dodo – the shirt’s previous owner – will now wear No.6 on his back.
The club previously revealed that Ljajic’s fellow deadline day arrivals Felipe Melo, Alex Telles and Ivan Perisic had all been assigned their respective shirt numbers.
Perisic, who arrived from Wolfsburg, will take the No.44 shirt, due to his preference for the No.4, which has been retired at Inter in respect to Javier Zanetti.
Felipe Melo and Telles, who both arrived from Turkish side Galatasaray, will take the No.83 and No.12 shirts respectively.
