Daniele Rugani’s agent confirmed Juventus do not intend to sell him despite interest from Napoli.
The defender moved to Juventus from Empoli this summer and Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia is sure he will not leave his new club,
“Juventus told me that if any defender has any physical issue, then Rugani would have his chance,” Torchia told Radio Kiss Kiss
“It is true that Napoli’s coach, Maurizio Sarri, has helped him grow as a player, teaching him how to apply his intelligence to the game.
“I never, however, received any contact from Napoli, as the club contacted Juventus directly.
“The Bianconeri told me they would not have sold him and kept their word.”
Sarri coached Rugani at Empoli last season, in which the defender played every single minute of the 38 Serie A games, without ever getting booked, and wanted to bring him to Napoli in the past transfer window.
