Inter striker Rodrigo Palacio’s future is still to be resolved with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Palacio has been with the Nerazzurri since 2012 and has managed to make 98 Serie A appearances, scoring 37 goals.

According to FcInter.news, Argentinian giants Boca Juniors are believed to be interested in bringing back the former Genoa man to Argentina in the January transfer window.

The report also states, however, that Roberto Mancini still relies heavily on Palacio as his third choice striker behind Stevan Jovetic and Mauro Icardi and would like him to stay until the end of the season.

Furthermore, depending on the 33-year-old’s performances his contract may still be renewed before the end of the season.

Palacio started his career in Serie A with the Grifone and managed to score 35 goals in 90 appearances for the Ligurian side.
