Chievo.

The home side are, along with Inter, the only side in Serie A not to taste defeat this season, following their 1-0 win at Palermo in mid week. Sassuolo are now unbeaten in 10 games in Serie A, in a run stretching back to April. The Neroverdi find themselves in 3rd place in Serie A with 11 points from five games.

Chievo, meanwhile, are in 4th place after a similarly great start to the season. The Flying Donkeys secure another win in mid week as they beat Torino 1-0 at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Last season Sassuolo were unbeaten in the two Serie A meeting between the two sides. A 0-0 draw in Verona was followed up by a 1-0 win at the Stadio Mapei with striker Domenico Berardi scoring the only goal of the game from the penalty spot. Sassuolo have also kept a clean sheet in their last 3 matches against Chievo in all competitions.

Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco is unlikely to change his side with Berardi once again fully fit. The Neroverdi’s only injury is to defender Luca Antei.

Chievo meanwhile still have trio Mariano Izco, Paul-José M’Poku and Ivan Radovanovic all out through injury. Coach Rolando Maran is likely to keep faith with Riccardo Meggiorini and Alessandro Gamberini with Sergio Pellissier and Dario Dainelli on the bench.
