Livorno made it four wins from four after they came from behind to beat Ternana 3-2, a result which also sent Ternana to the bottom of the Serie B table.

However, despite their lowly position it was the Fere who made the stronger start, opening the scoring five minutes into the match.

After failing to take advantage from their initial corner, the Rossoverdi made no mistake with their second attempt as defender Alejandro Gonzalez scored a fantastic header from just inside the six-yard-box.

Buoyed by their early goal the Umbrian side increased their advantage in the 31st minute. Midfielder Nicolo Bertini delivered an in-swinging cross which was missed by not only the Livorno defenders but also by any attacker, and eventually settled into the net.

But the Amaranto responded with alarming rapidity. In the 39th minute Mattia Aramu picked the ball up just outside the 18-yard-box and fired a delightful shot past Luca Mazzoni in the Ternana goal.

Into the second-half and Le Trigile continued where they had left off in the opening 45. A floated ball was delivered into the Ternana box and fell right onto the head off Daniele Vantaggiato, who placed the ball beyond Mazzoni to bring the score level.

The Rossoverdi looked shocked to have lost their lead, and it was to get worse for the side from Terni, as Christian Pasquato, on loan from Juventus, cut inside the penalty box and smashed his shot home to seal all three points for the Amaranto.
