Inter president Erick Thohir welcomed his three new deadline day signings of Felipe Melo, Alex Telles and Adem Ljajic in a press conference earlier today.
The three players have been viewed as panic buys by some, however the president is pleased and he made this very clear in his conference where he praised each of them highly.
“I am convinced that the tenacity and strength that characterise this player will make our midfield even more competitive,” Thohir commented on Melo.
“And Alex Telles will bring quality and freshness to the side.
“Ljajic, his offensive skills and his determination can elevate him to being one of the team’s protagonists.
“Welcome all and Forza Inter.”
After losing two key players in Mateo Kovacic to Real Madrid and Hernanes to Juventus this transfer window, Thohir and his club administration will be wishing for the best performances possible out of their new players to counter-balance the damage dealt by these departures.
