Udinese’s matchwinning hero Duvan Zapata is concerned by a potential injury that he picked up during this weekend’s win against Bologna.

Zapata struck five minutes from time to complete a Zebrette comeback over Bologna on Sunday, but says that he will have to undergo medical tests to provide clarity on an injury which he may have sustained.

“I still do not know how I am doing,” said the striker to Udinese Channel.

“I have to take the medical examination tomorrow and check with the doctor.

“This injury is a shame for me, but I do hope that it isn’t anything serious,” he added.

“I want to keep playing and keep scoring to help the team out of this difficult period.”

The Colombian is currently on a two-year loan deal with Udinese, moving from a Napoli side who he scored 11 Serie A goals over two seasons for.
