AC Milan is not good.

The Rossoneri lost 4-0 to Napoli at the weekend, leaving Milan 11th in Serie A and Calabria admits there have been problems at the club for years.

“The current situation at Milan is not good,” Calabria told La Repubblica.

“We’re trying to get out of the situation, which has been going on at the club for a few years.

“I hope that with our new players we can get out of this difficult situation, especially for the fans.

“To immediately forget about the defeat to Napoli will be tough.

“After a few good games earlier in the season we undid all our good work against Genoa and Napoli.

“It is a blow but we have to put it out of our minds and try to improve.”

Calabria then went onto speak about being part of the Italy under 21 setup ahead of their Euro qualifying double against Slovenia and Ireland.

“I am happy to be here with the Under-21s, it is an incredible emotion to represent for my country,” Calabria added.

“I was not expecting to be called up.

“I am with the national team, so I am not thinking about Milan.

“I will go back to the club and try to do my best as always.”
