AC Milan star Keisuke Honda has attracted the attention of Valencia as a potential January transfer target.

The Japanese international has fallen out of favour with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic after unconvincing performances this season and most recently for making scathing remarks about how the struggling club should restructure and stop blaming the players.

According to reports from Spanish news outlet AS, Valencia coach Nuno Espirito Santo is hoping to capitalize on the situation in order to buy the Japanese international.

Since his long awaited arrival to Milan in 2013, Honda has struggled to find convincing form throughout his 43 appearances in multiple positions and has only scored nine goals in the process.

Valencia have made an ok start to their La Liga season and are currently tied in 6th place on nine points along with Espanyol.

  1. Honda is one of the most professional players Milan has had the chance to have. I pray he bounces back and trains hard to expel all rumors about a potential transfer involving him. Forza Milan!
