Kevin-Prince Boateng SchalkeKevin-Prince Boateng is set to be registered as a member of the playing staff by AC Milan in January.

The Ghanaian international has been training with the Rossoneri since being suspended by Schalke 04 for bad behaviour and the German club have failed to find anyone interested in taking on the 28-year-old.

According to Calcionews24.com, Boateng will stay in training until December 31 before he is registered as a Milan player provided he can impress in two and a half months worth of work at Milanello.

The midfielder is still on the books at Schalke despite not being named as part of their squad and vice-president Adriano Galliani is reportedly willing to offer €1 million for the player whose contract expires in 2016.

Boateng made 74 appearances and scored 10 goals for the Rossoneri during his first spell with Milan between 2010 and 2013 and he won the Scudetto and Supercoppa Italiana in Italy.
