Napoli’s Allan has insisted that they must continue winning if they are to have any chance of winning the Serie A title.
The Partenopei claimed a 1-0 victory away to Chievo on Sunday night in Serie A ,but despite grabbing all three points, Allan thinks the side can still get better.
“The whole team can improve,” he told Mediaset Premium. “We can do great things and get very far.”
The Brazilian also hopes his recent performances with the Italian club can help him secure a place in the national squad, after previously only appearing for the Brazil Under-20 side.
“It’s been a dream ever since I was a child and I hope the coach calls me up,” he said.
The 24-year-old then commented on this season so far, saying that Napoli must obtain continuity, as there is a lot of competition at the top of the league table.
“There are so many teams fighting for the top places as it is a balanced league,” the former Udinese man concluded.
“We have to continue like this and not give up anything.”
