silvio berlusconiAC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has publicly backed coach Sinisa Mihajlovic despite an inconsistent start to the Rossoneri’s season.

Milan currently have nine points from six games, sit in 11th place in the table and they are still only four points away from third placed Torino.

“As for the results, I am confident that Mihajlovic will put his tactics in place and the understanding between players will click, I think that this will happen soon.” said a confident Berlusconi to Calcionews24.

“I am somewhat comforted by the bad start to the season by the other major teams, but I think that Milan can certainly qualify for the next Champions League,

“It is a necessary goal for the future projects we have, with the listing of Milan on the stock exchange in Asia.

“Mihajlovic will have no problem as he is our coach and someone I consider to be a respectable and capable person.”

The former prime minister then talked about the sale of some of the club’s shares to Thai investor Bee Taechaubol.

“We had a meeting with Mr. Bee, we were talking about the marketing of the brand outside of Italy, but I think everything will materialise very soon and it will be good for Milan,” concluded Berlusconi.
