Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Matusa as both sides look to return to form.

The Blucerchiati currently sit in ninth, one point adrift of European qualification. Sampdoria come into the game after an impressive draw against Inter 1-1 before the international break, in game that Samp dominated for large periods.

Frosinone, meanwhile, are looking to continue a recent impressive run of form that saw them earn their first ever point in Serie A against the reigning Scudetto holders and Champions League runners-up, Juventus. After earning their first point the Canarini outdid themselves, earning their first ever Serie A victory, coming against Empoli, thanks to Federico Dionisi’s brace.

Both teams will be working to back-line to defend better. Frosinone have conceded in six out of the seven games so far this season, but have conceded no more than two goals in any game. Sampdoria have conceded 15 goals in their last eight away games going back to last season.

This match will be the first between the two due to Frosinone’s infancy in the higher levels of Calcio.
