Torino defender Gaston Silva has said that he and his teammates will work hard to improve in their next game, after they lost 2-1 to relegation candidates Carpi in Serie A on Saturday afternoon.
Il Toro had been in good form before the match having retrieved 13 points from their opening six matches. For Carpi it was their first ever win in the Italian top flight and a first for new coach Giuseppe Sannino.
“It was a game that we have lost badly,” Silva told reporters following the defeat.
“We must now get down to work and prepare for our next match. We must start thinking about the game against AC Milan immediately.
“The international break will serve as a chance for some of us to rest and also for the team recover some of our injured players.”
