Fiorentina attacking midfielder Josip Ilicic says the Viola are not feeling the pressure being top of Serie A, and are enjoying their football.
The Gigliati currently sit at the summit of the standings after seven games, enjoying their best ever start to a season, and the Slovenia international is delighted hows things are going so far.
“We started the season very well, and we want to continue like this,” Ilicic told reporters ahead of his country’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania on Friday night.
“No one feels the pressure on the pitch, and now we are leading the league, I have no problems.
“I belong to a group that wants to go higher and higher.
“Me and Fiorentina always play to win.”
The 27-year-old has been in fine form so far for the Viola, finding the net three times and providing one assist this campaign.
