Sampdoria.

Inter came from behind to draw 1-1 at Sampdoria and Mancini believes his side greatly improved in the second half.

“I was angry at half time, in the first half we moved the ball too slowly,” Mancini told reporters after the game against Sampdoria.

“In the second half Sampdoria dropped off and we improved.

“We upped the tempo and we looked like a much better team at the end of the match.

“It was important not to lose here so we have done well.”

Mancini then went onto speak about the performance of goal scorer Ivan Perisic and the form of Geoffrey Kondogbia.

“Perisic played well, even in the first half when we weren’t great,” Mancini added.

“Kondogbia went off because he picked up a knock.

“He still has to get to know and adapt to Italian football as it is a lot different to the French league.

“It is only a matter of time until he starts playing his best football again.”
