Inter full-back Dodo has announced that he is ready to make his long awaited comeback.

The former Roma man has been out of action since March after suffering a knee ligament injury and the Brazilian has claimed he is desperate to play football again.

“I am now available and I hope I can be useful to the team,” Dodo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“There were some difficult moments, particularly the first month after such an issue as I could not run or work out in the gym and so I had to be strong mentally.”

“I feel really good and maybe even better than when I arrived at Inter.

“I am motivated and I want to play, my goal is to find place in the team.”

Dodo then went onto speak about how Inter have fared this season and he has been impressed with the Nerazzurri’s start to the campaign.

“I think we have started the season well, despite the past few games,” Dodo continued.

“Compared to previous years it is a different Serie A.

“I am sure we can fight and stay among the teams chasing the title.”
