Juventus director Pavel Nedved believes the side can fight for the Scudetto, but insisted star midfielder Paul Pogba needs to focus more on the end product and less on his style.

After registering just one goal and no assists in his first seven games, Nedved believes Pogba can improve greatly.

“You can’t have everything when you’re young, that’s why I told him to be less stylish on the pitch,” Nedved told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He should be more decisive for the team, but he is still young and will get better.”

Sitting 12th in Serie A, Nedved then compared Juventus’ current situation to their 2002 comeback campaign where he helped the Bianconeri win the scudetto after a slow start to the season.

“Our comeback in 2002 was beautiful, we won the Scudetto on the last day and I think we could do that again now,” Nedved added.

“But we can not think about that now. We must focus our next game [against Inter] which is going to be difficult.

“We must stay calm and work hard, we signed players that are very, very good.”

“There is no need to look at the standings now.”

The Ballon d’Or winner then turned his attention towards Juventus defender Martin Caceres, who was suspended from the team after crashing his Ferrari into a bus shelter, while driving under the influence.

“As for Caceres, he made a mistake and the club has done the right thing,” Nedved insisted.

“We do not yet know when he will be reinstated.”

Despite the circulated news of highly evaluating him, Pogba is not the phenomenal player. he didn’t deserve No. 10. The shirt must go to Marchesio. Following the departure of the likes of Piro, Vidal and Tevez he is just a frustrated one on the peach> Better for JUVE to cash on him.
