Juventus winger Roberto Pereyra has thanked fans for their support following his injury.
The Argentine international picked up a knock in his side’s 2-0 victory over Atalanta on Sunday afternoon but he has insisted he is already focused on a return to the team.
“I am happy about the result, we go on #ForzaJuve,” the 24-year-old posted on his Facebook page.
“It’s a shame about the injury but as of tomorrow morning I will work hard for a return to the team as soon as possible.
“Thank you for all the messages of support.”
The latest news on his injury suggests that Pereyra will be sidelined for at least a month.
The Bianconeri’s victory means they now sit 12th in the Serie A table ahead of their trip to Sassuolo on Wednesday night, while Atalanta are in ninth.
