Marco Parolo - ItalyMarco Parolo is adamant Italy will not take things for granted when they face Azerbaijan.

Italy will qualify for Euro 2016 in France with a win against Azerbaijan but the Lazio midfielder Parolo knows it will be a tough match.

“It won’t be an easy game against Azerbaijan because they’ll give 110 per cent,” Parolo told reporters at his pre match press conference ahead of the game against Azerbaijan.

“We wont take things for granted and give our all to qualify for France next year.

“They haven’t lost for four matches, but we want to seal qualification.

“We’re going to play our game.”

Parolo also had his say on Lorenzo Insigne who has been forced to pull out of the Italy squad due to injury.

“I am sorry for Insigne, I hope he can recover soon,” Parolo added.

“The pressure from clubs is normal, but a lot depends on the players when deciding on injuries.

“I think Lorenzo has spoken to the doctors with the national team and at Napoli before making his decision.

“Certainly he’s doing very well with Napoli, and he would have given a lot to the national team.

“But there are a lot of top players in the Azzurri squad and our strength is the depth in our group.

“There isn’t one player who makes a difference by himself, we need to be together and put into practice what we’ve worked on during the week.”
