Andrea Ranocchia InterInter defender Andrea Ranocchia seems set to leave the club this January with Liverpool showing interest in his signature.

The Italian has been at Inter since 2011 but has failed to solidify a starting role in the side since the return of coach Roberto Mancini to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. However, he recently extended his contract with the Italian giants until 2019.

According to Tuttosport, new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the 27-year-old defender and has reportedly expressed his desire to see Ranocchia at Anfield by the end of the mid-season transfer window.

The Nerazzurri defender is yet to play a full 90-minute match so far in Serie A this season.

Ranocchia is not enjoying life on the sidelines and a move away from Italy may be on the horizon, with the club also reportedly keen to get him off the books.
