Jose Mourinho InterJose Mourinho claims current Serie A does not have a team clearly better than the others.

The Portuguese manager of Chelsea believes teams like Napoli or Roma should take advantage of this season to try to win the title.

“Serie A has never been as open as it is today,” said Mourinho to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I would be happy if I was an Inter supporter, they are fighting for the title.

Juventus remind me of Chelsea, as they started slowly, but like Chelsea they will come back: it is only a matter of time.

“Napoli and Roma should take advantage of a season without favourites.

Mourinho then commented on his fellow Portuguese coach Paulo Sousa, who took over at Fiorentina during the summer.

“I am happy for Sousa as Fiorentina are top of the league.

“Sousa is great. He started from the bottom, has worked hard and now he’s here.

“He was humble and worked in Hungary, Israel, England and Switzerland.

“He studies and updates himself. He has grown and is now ready for Italy.

“You can see his influence on Fiorentina already.”
