Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne believes his side can win the Serie A this season.
Insigne scored twice as Napoli beat AC Milan 4-0 on Sunday evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and Insigne is happy with his new role in the side.
“It’s a long season and we will try to the very end to win Serie A,” Insigne told reporters after the game against AC Milan.
“I am very happy, because it’s my first brace for Napoli and above all to do it against Milan in such an amazing stadium, it is a beautiful feeling.
“I am also very pleased to have earned a victory for my teammates and Napoli.”
Insigne then went onto speak about his role in the Napoli side this season under new coach Maurizio Sarri compared to last year under Rafa Benitez.
“Even when I played as a trequartista I always tried my best,” he continued.
“I perform better in a 4-3-3, though I try to give my all for the team and the coach, who has a lot of faith in my abilities.”
