Napoli Sampdoria HiguainNapoli striker Gonzalo Higuain could make a move from Italy to the English Premier League.

Rumours recently surfaced in England that the Argentine could transfer to either Arsenal or Liverpool, and they have now been strengthened by speculation that Higuain could be looking for a new challenge.

Fichajes reports that the 27-year-old would be open to moving away from Napoli and to a Premier League side to try a new direction in his career.

He has played for the Partenopei since 2013, winning the Coppa Italia during his time at the Stadio San Paolo so far.

Liverpool in particular could look for a shake-up up front after some disappointing results recently, which also led to the sacking of coach Brendan Rodgers.

Higuain spent six years at Spanish giants Real Madrid before completing a transfer to Italy.
