Juventus director and former attacking midfielder Pavel Nedved forecast that Alvaro Morata will stay with the Bianconeri for the future and continue to improve.
The Czech also insisted that there are no regrets after letting Kingsley Coman join Bayern Munich where he has already scored two Bundesliga goals.
“Morata is our player and I can only see him at Juve,” said Nedved to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He is very strong and I think that up until this point he has only been performing at about 60 per cent of his potential.”
The 43-year-old also praised Juve’s summer signing Paulo Dybala for his technical ability.
“He has all the right characteristics to become a phenomenal player,” added Nedved.
“From a technical perspective he has no equals; he’s already done more that I expected.”
The Juve board member insisted that the club do not miss the youngster Coman.
“Players only stay at Juve if they want to be here,” explained Nedved.
“He asked to leave and we accepted his wish.”
