Juventus and Czech Republic legend Pavel Nedved expressed happiness at his appointment as the club’s new vice-president.
The former midfielder had hoped to take things slowly but acknowledged that football is always on his mind.
“Juventus are moving forward very quickly, it’s funny because earlier I had expressed my desire to live my life slowly but it seems I can’t fulfil that, but the truth is that I continue to be happy for Juve,” said Nedved to Forbes Magazine.
“Football is always in my head. My wife doesn’t like that, but what can I do? It’s my life and it’s almost a drug for me.
“I’m glad that above me there’s only the president, so I can improve in my role a little.
“I’m not entirely convinced about staying here in Italy. Football is very stressful and tiring and my wife is against the idea of staying. With that said, we’ll leave it to fate to decide”
