Andrea Ranocchia InterPremier League side Newcastle United are thought to be interested in Inter centre-back Andrea Ranocchia.

Ranocchia has found first-team football hard to come by this season with just five substitute appearances to his name, as Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini prefers Miranda and Jeison Murillo to the Italian international.

According to Premium Sports, Ranocchia may look to move in the January transfer window in an attempt to secure some playing time before EURO 2016 in France, with the Magpies believed to be at the front of the queue for the 27-year-old.

However, it is also thought that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have also scouted Ranocchia in the past.

Though a move to the Premier League may be on the cards, the former Genoa man may prefer a move to city rivals AC Milan, to improve his chances of getting an international call-up.
