Juventus v Sevilla FC - UEFA Champions LeagueFormer Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Orsi believes Juventus showed the necessary mental fortitude during their 2-0 win over Sevilla.

The Bianconeri sealed their second Champions League victory of the season on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Simone Zaza, and find themselves now top of Group D.

“Yesterday morning I had predicted that the Old Lady would win,” said Orsi to Radio Radio.

“They won the game but they had great difficulty controlling the match.”

He continued: “The 3-5-2 formation suits the players to which coach [Massimiliano] Allegri has at his disposal. He should be given credit for his game plan.”

“Their were positive performances from [Juan] Cuadrado and [Sami] Khedira, the team deserved the victory against a poor Sevilla side.

“The Bianconeri played the game with the right mentality.”
