Roberto Soriano SampdoriaSampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano feels that the Blucerchiati were slightly to blame for conceding an equalizer against Inter in Sunday night’s match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Luis Muriel broke the deadlock for Sampdoria just after the restart but Ivan Perisic drew the score level with 20 minutes remaining to help the Nerazzurri prevent a second straight defeat.

“It’s always difficult to play against the big teams,” said Soriano according to Fcinternews.it.

“In the second half we lowered our defences too much and they came out strong. At home, however, we always do well with big thanks to the support of our fans, we must begin to give continuity even on the road.”

Soriano then spoke about his role in the side.

“I do what the coach asks,” he said.

“Midfielder or playmaker, I try to exploit by using my characteristics. Now we’ll rest for the international break and we will return to try and recover as many points as possible.”
