Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa has praised winger Federico Bernardeschi.
La Viola lost 2-1 on the weekend at home to Roma but Sousa was still full of praise for the 21-year-old’s versatility.
“He is a player who has a strong desire to help the team, the city and himself,” Sousa said in a pre-match press conference.
“When a player has this attitude, the coach has the ability to change tactics concerning the player.
“Not everyone has this open-mindedness.”
The Portuguese tactician then looked ahead to Fiorentina’s next match in Serie A, which is a trip to Hellas Verona on Wednesday night, remaining positive that they can return to winning ways.
“With our quality I think eventually we will get the three points,” added Sousa.
The Viola are currently third in the league table, two points behind leaders Roma.
