Fiorentina’s summer signing from Atletico Madrid Mario Suarez has insisted that he is very happy at the club as he enjoys living in Florence after he received a kind welcome that helped him to settle in.
The 28-year-old also believes that coach Paulo Sousa’s vision suits his abilities perfectly.
“I have been welcomed to Florence very well,” said Suarez to Cadena Ser.
“I live in the centre and that’s something I enjoy.
“I know that the club put a lot of effort into getting me and I really appreciate this.
“[Paulo] Sousa likes to play the ball, he prefers Tiki-Taka football.
“Training is all based around this ideology and this is something that I appreciate in particular.”
Suarez has made four Serie A appearances and one in the Europa League since joining the Viola from Atletico Madrid as part of the move which saw Stefan Savic head the other way.
