antonelli ac milan chievoAC Milan defender Luca Antonelli has warned that his side will have to be fully prepared this Saturday as the Rossoneri host Sampdoria at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The Blucerchiati sit in 12th position with 16 points from thirteen games, having endured a sticky start to their 2015-16 Serie A campaign. Sampdoria’s president Massimo Ferrero decided to sack former coach Walter Zenga earlier this month, which allowed former Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella to take the reigns.

“On Saturday, it will be a difficult game, as Sampdoria have hired a new coach, Vincenzo Montella, and all sides who come to San Siro always want to do well,” the Italian defender told Milan Channel.

Milan will face Crotone next week at the San Siro in the fourth round of the Coppa Italia, and the defender has admitted that his side will be looking to win the trophy this season.

“We also want to do well in the Coppa Italia match against Crotone, as really it means a lot to us,” Antonelli concluded.
