AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo celebrated making his 100th appearance for the club in a 4-1 thumping of Sampdoria on Saturday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The 30-year-old marked his special occasion with a post to his Twitter feed.
“A perfect match to celebrate 100 with the Rossoneri! Forza Milan!” the player posted on his social media account.
Montolivo joined Il Diavolo in 2012 after successful stints with Atalanta and Fiorentina respectively, eventually earning the captains armband from Massimo Ambrosini just a year later.

The midfielder has since gone on to score seven times across his century of appearances.
The Rossoneri’s success in front of the San Siro faithful has temporarily placed the team in fifth position in the Serie A table on 23 points, as the club hopes to capitalize on upcoming matches with Carpi, Hellas Verona, and Frosinone before Christmas.
