Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is pleased with how his side are beginning to string together a few positive results following their victory over Palermo on Sunday night.
The Bianconeri won 3-0 in Sicily in Serie A following the motivational win against Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday night, bringing the month of November to a positive end.
“The guys put in a good performance in terms of their play and intensity,” Allegri told Premium Sport. “We came into the game with a great deal of energy from the match on Wednesday.
“There was a danger that we might not have held on to our lead for the 90 minutes, but we were good enough to keep going.”
Juventus have recently qualified for the next round of the Champions League and also claimed four wins and one draw over the past month, moving themselves up from 10th to fifth in the Serie A league table.
“We have had a great November with the qualification in the Champions League and moving up the table,” Allegri said.
When asked about why the reigning champions have begun to find their form, the Italian tactician claimed the depth of the squad to be a factor.
“We have a range of players who are all in good physical condition,” he concluded.
