Di Francesco - SassuoloSassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco is wary of Genoa’s attacking threat ahead of their trip to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon.

The Neroverdi currently sit fifth in the Serie A league table but Di Francesco believes there is still room for improvement and has asked for his team to continue growing.

“I think we can improve our game,” the 46-year-old said during his pre-match press conference.

“As for the results, we are very happy with what we are getting but we have to continue growing, especially the younger players.”

The Italian tactician then discussed his opponents in the game, saying the Rossoblu’s attack is an area which could catch them out.

“We will be playing on a very difficult pitch, the coach is very prepared,” he said.

“The aggressiveness of his attack is his best weapon.”

The fixtures between the Neroverdi and Genoa have not been dull encounters recently, and Di Francesco hopes that the trend continues on Sunday.

“It will be a complicated game, over the years there have been many goals in games between Sassuolo and Genoa,” he said.

“I hope that will be the case this time, obviously in our favour.”
