Evra: Juventus beating Empoli was very important

Empoli FC v Juventus FC - Serie AJuventus defender Patrice Evra was pleased with his side’s victory against Empoli and he is now focused on Juve’s next game.

The 34-year-old grabbed a goal as the Bianconeri fought back from 1-0 down to win 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Serie A, but Evra is only thinking of the game in general.

“The most important thing was not the goal but the three points,” he said.

“We have talked a lot this week and we understand that three points were very important.

“When you play for Juve you have to give your best and today we did.”

Talking of Juventus’ season hopes in general, Evra remained focused on his team’s next game which is a clash against AC Milan on November 21.

“I am only thinking of a win against Milan,” he concluded.
