Juan Iturbe RomaAC Milan and Fiorentina have made formal inquires into the availability of Roma winger Juan Manuel Iturbe.

The 22 year-old has grown frustrated at a lack of playing time at the Giallorossi, as he is below the likes of Iago Falque, Mohamed Salah and Gervinho in the pecking order.

According to Roman newspaper Il Tempo, the Argentinian is pushing for an exit in the January transfer window.

Milan were interested in signing Iturbe from Hellas Verona before he moved to the capital, previously offering up to €20 million.

Genoa and Fiorentina have also maintained a strong interest in Iturbe these past months, the former already trying to obtain him on-loan. However it would seem La Viola have an advantage over the Grifone, who have every intention of buying the player on a permanent deal.

Iturbe has not fared too badly for the Giallorossi so far this campaign, making 10 league appearances and scoring once.

Milan currently have an abundance of attacking wingers at the club, notably M’Baye Niang, Alessio Cerci and Keisuke Honda, whereas Fiorentina are limited to Federico Bernardeschi and the injured Jakub Blaszczykowski as their main candidates.

If Roma were to sell the player, then they will want a return on the €25 million paid for Iturbe, who helped then hold onto second place in Serie A last season.

Iturbe began his career in Europe with FC Porto, before moving to Verona in 2013 where he shot to stardom.
