Kevin-Prince Boateng - AC MilanKevin-Prince Boateng looks set to make his informal training arrangement with AC Milan into a permanent deal in January.

The Ghana midfielder has been training with the Rossoneri after relations with his current club Schalke broke down at the end of last season.

Initially it appeared, report Tuttomercatoweb.com, that Boateng was being offered the services of Milanello, Milan’s training ground, as gratitude for his previous service to the Milanese club.

It now seems, however, that Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic will add the former Portsmouth midfielder to his squad, thus enabling to play once again for the Rossoneri.

While the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder remains under contract with the Gelsenkirchen side, he is currently unable to change clubs.

However, as he has been completely frozen out at the German side, when the transfer window reopens Milan may well be able to secure his services for a negligible fee.

Boateng’s previous stint at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza saw him play 74 Serie A games, scoring 10 goals.
