lavezzi psgParis Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has revealed how much he misses Italy and former club Napoli after leaving the Partenopei in the summer of 2012.

The 30-year-old forward has spoken about the differences between Italian and French football, and expressed his desire to return to Serie A in the future.

“Italian football is not what it used to be,” Lavezzi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“It still makes you feel like a true footballer, a true player. It pushes you to the limit. I miss the pressure in Italian football. As an Argentinian, I am used to the pressure.”

“I watch every match in the Italian league. Napoli have a good team and I believe this is going to be their year.”

“Also. Inter have a really good chance; the league is going to be a very close one this season.”

Lavezzi scored 38 goals during 156 appearances for the Azzurri before joining PSG for a fee in the region of €27 million in July 2012.
