The 38-year-old added he is happy to see his team on the right track and believes the Canarini will need to improve their away form if Serie A survival is to be achieved.
“It is a really important win for our moral and for the table, especially after Bologna’s loss to Torino,” Stellone told Rai Sport.
“We suffered a lot in the final minutes, but until then we displayed 70-75 minutes of great quality and intensity.
“We knew at the start of the season that this year we would have had to suffer, but we are in a good position at the moment and on the right tracks.
“We want to continue like this and try and do better in the away matches.”
