Inter have been told that they must offer a minimum of €10 million if they are to stand a chance of signing Galatasaray defender Semih Kaya.

The Nerazzurri are looking to strengthen their Serie A title bid with the acquisition of a defender in January’s transfer window, and after earmarking Galatasaray’s Kaya they have been advised of a recommended price.

“If Inter come in with an offer of 10 million? Then we will have to make a decision,” said Galatasaray director Cenk Ergun to fcinter1908.it.

“Kaya was produced by our academy and I still think he has a lot to give to Galatasaray,” he continued.

“He is already an important player for us, he’s gained experience and can play for any European club.

“Therefore, we cannot accept a ‘loan to purchase’ offer or similar formulae, as was the case of Alex Telles.

“It needs to be a full and final offer, and we are looking for that.”

Inter signed Telles on a ‘loan to purchase’ agreement in the summer transfer window.
