Ilkay Gundogan DortmundJuventus are lining up a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan to strengthen the Bianconeri’s engine room.

The Old Lady lost the services of influential midfielders Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal in the summer, while replacements Sami Khedira and Hernanes have so far struggled to live up to their predecessors, with injury and loss of form hampering the pair respectively.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have made the Germany international their prime target for the next transfer window, but want to negotiate with Die Borussen over the price.

The North Rhine-Westphalia club want at least €25 or €30 million for the former FC Nurnburg midfielder, with the Old Lady hoping to agree a fee of around €20m for the 25-year-old.

If a deal cannot be agreed for the German, the Bianconeri could turn their attention to Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano.
