Juventus are thought to be plotting a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, with the Argentine’s contract nearing an end.
While Juventus brought several new attacking players to the club over the summer, they have joined a number of other clubs, including Barcelona and Inter, and are expressing interest in signing the Argentine international.
According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are now considering the 30-year old as a more reasonable target compared to the likes of Chelsea’s Oscar, or Real Madrid’s Isco, who are both expected to earn high fees.
PSG are reportedly looking for a fee in the range of €3 million to €4m, with reports also indicating that Lavezzi is willing to accept a salary cut, and seems ready to agree to a contract packet of around €3.5m per season while he currently earns €5m with his current club.
