Serie A side Juventus are looking for an attacking midfielder to add to the squad in the immediate future, as requested by coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Their options seem to be all high-profile offensive players, with some kind of difficulty in their respective clubs. The list includes Manchester City’s Samir Nasri, Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi and Oscar of Chelsea.

According to Calciomercato.it, the front-runner in this race is Lavezzi.

The Argentinian has an expiring contract at PSG, and he could be willing to move to the Bianconeri since he already knows that the French side is not going to renew his contract.

The main rivals in the bid for El Pocho are Inter and Barcelona, who could be interested in strengthening their forward line in January.

Samir Nasri is another good option for sporting director Giuseppe Marotta; the French winger can play on the trequartista position and on the wing as well, completing an impressive attack with Juan Cuadrado on the opposite side of the pitch. Nonetheless, his salary is considered too high for Juventus’ pockets.

The final option would be Chelsea’s Oscar. The young Brazilian is apparently the preferred choice for coach Allegri.

This is reportedly the right moment to take him from the Blues, as Jose Mourinho is looking to sell in order to renew the squad.
