Lazio striker Miroslav Klose looks set to leave the club for Major League Soccer when his contract expires, with a trio of clubs eager to secure his services.

The German veteran’s current deal runs until June, but it seems likely that he will depart the Stadio Olimpico at that point.

LaLazioSiAmoNoi.net report that the former Bayern Munich hitman will look to sign a deal at the end of January, with Los Angeles Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire all thought to be interested.

Now 37, Klose has endured a difficult start to the season with Lazio, failing to score in the first 12 games of the campaign, a barren spell previous unheard of by a man who scored more than 70 goals for Germany during a glittering career.

With the MLS transfer window running from February to May, Klose may well be able to secure himself a move before Serie A comes to a conclusion.
