Thomas HeurtauxUdinese defender Thomas Heurtaux is being lined up by Lazio as Stefano Pioli’s side look to add depth to their defensive department.

The Biancocelesti have struggled in Serie A so far this season and currently sit in eighth place, having collected just 19 points from their opening 13 matches.

According to Il Messaggero, the Stadio Olimpico side will meet with Giuseppe Bozzo – the agent of goalkeeper Federico Marchetti, as well as Heurtaux – to discuss a contract extension for the goalkeeper in the coming weeks.

During the meeting, it is thought that the Eternal City side will enquire about the possibility of bringing the Udinese defender to the capital.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from the Friuli club this season and has featured in just three of the Zebrette’s 13 Serie A matches to date.
