Chievo coach Rolando Maran is adamant his side must start getting points soon if they are to avoid a relegation scrap this season.
The Gialloblu have not won since September 23 when they beat Torino 1-0 and they have lost four out of their last five games in Serie A.
“The last two weeks were long, we wanted to play right away against Carpi to bounce back from the defeat against Palermo,” Maran told reporters at the pre-match press conference.
“Tomorrow we want to send out a strong signal.
“We have produced so many great performances, but now it’s time to harvest the fruits of our labour because the beautiful game is not enough, we need the points.
“We’ll have to be stylish, strong and angry against Carpi.”
Chievo sit in 14th in Serie A going in to the fixture while their opponents are bottom.
