AC Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has praised coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, saying he believes he is the perfect boss for them.
The 46-year-old tactician joined the Rossoneri in the summer to replace Filippo Inzaghi, meaning he was reunited with Montolivo after they spent time together in the 2010-11 Serie A season at Fiorentina.
“I think he has done a great job in improving many aspects that were our weak points in recent years, such as dead-ball situations,” Montolivo told Sky Sport Italia.
“He has grown up since I worked with him five years ago in Florence, he is a much more complete coach and one of the best in Italy.
“He is the ideal coach for us.
“It’s not easy to coach Milan, it’s not easy to be in a complicated situation like ours.”
Since arriving at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Mihajlovic has won six of his 12 games in the league, with the team currently sitting in sixth place in the table.
