Inter defender Yuto Nagatomo admits he finds it difficult when he is not playing regularly for the Nerazzurri.
The Japanese international played just his fourth game in Serie A so far this season for the Nerazzurri in their 1-0 victory over Torino on Sunday afternoon.
“It was difficult when I was not playing,” he told Inter Channel.
“But I have always trained to be ready.”
Talking of the match against the Granata, Nagatomo says it was important to grab a goal against a good opponent.
“Torino were well organised so it was not easy,” he said.
“The important thing is scoring against a team like this.”
The victory means they sit joint top of the Serie A league table with Fiorentina after 12 games ahead of their next game, which is a visit from Frosinone to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after the international break.
