English Premier League clubs Tottenham and Liverpool have reportedly set Fiorentina attacker Khouma Babacar in their sights ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
The 22-year-old Senegalese forward continues to impress with La Viola with four goals in as many starts in Serie A this term, while also finding the back of the net once in his pair of starts in the Europa League.
According to a report from talkSPORT, Tottenham and Liverpool are keen on entering a bidding war for the promising goal scorer, despite the player’s recent contract extension up to 2019.
Fiorentina will likely hesitate to part with the promising young talent, who’s been with the club since his youth career in 2009. Babacar further developed on loan from the Gigliati during spells with Racing Santander in La Liga before stints with Padova and Modena in Serie B.
